Edward Day
CEO and President
Edward Day joined HST's Board of Directors in 2009 and became President and CEO in 2010 after recapitalizing the company.
HST's pricing analytic technologies introduce transparency to an opaque healthcare market and establish the price-to-value relationship for medical services.
He has extensive knowledge in financial services and healthcare and serves on several boards, holds patents on risk management
technologies and lectures at California State University, Fullerton on risk management and international finance and at University
of California, Irvine on technology.
Prior to launching HST, Edward co-founded TC3 Health, a leading loss control and risk analytics company overseeing strategy
development, product management and sales and marketing operations. He has extensive experience in market opportunity assessment,
corporate and business development and securing early stage funding.
Throughout his career, Edward has successfully architected business strategies designed to promote rapid growth environments.
Prior founding TC3 Health, he was Vice President Business Development at Healtheon/WebMD (Emdeon), one of the nation's leading
healthcare IT organizations. His previous engagements include a number of successful ventures with companies such as Pacific Life,
Beech Street (MultiPlan) and the Institute for International Trade and Development.
Edward served as an International Economist to the Secretary of the Treasury specializing in
financial information systems for international capital markets and co-authored, Foreign Portfolio Investment in the U.S. He's
advised the Ministry of Finance of the Peoples' Republic of China on international finance and comparative taxation.
Edward is published on a range of topics and speaks extensively on financial technologies. He holds a Master's degree in Development
Banking from American University in Washington, DC and Bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of
California, Santa Barbara.
